Our 2018 TSE Gold 100 Recap
As the year winds down, it's nice to reflect on all of the hard work event organizers put in to continually grow their events. This year's Gold 100 was yet another fantastic one to see old friends and make new.
Each year we have the pleasure of attending loads of excellent industry events, and last week was no exception as both Don and Jerry spent a few days on the west coast attending Trade Show Executive’s Gold 100 – an event where the giants of the exhibition industry gather for awards, education, and networking.
In between rounds of golf and cocktails, some work does get done, and this year our very own CEO was featured on a panel about how collaboration improves technology and innovation. If you’re a subscriber to our monthly eNewsletter, you’ve likely read an article or two about our philosophy and goals related to technology and data integrations – something we’ll hopefully continue to shed light on as the year continues.
On the awards front, our industry’s largest shows saw continued growth across-the-board again in 2017, and while we can’t take any credit for this, we are happy to play a microscopic role in the overall success of an event. Humble brag alert: over one-third of this year’s Gold 100 events currently utilize MYS software including an astonishing 9 of the top 10 shows honored this year.
It’s truly an honor to be able to listen to experiences, share advice, and find common goals on a day-to-day basis with such an amazing user group. Yeah, that sentence is something a marketing person has to type up on their own company blog, but we’re 100% sincere. Our customers continue to inspire us to bring new ideas to the table in hopes of advancing their goals.
And if you’re interested in sharing stories or participating with other industry folk this year, allow me to invite you to our booth (1137) at Expo! Expo! in December where you’ll find a wide-range of event organizers to network and swap experiences with. Plus, we’ll be debuting at least one completely redesigned product. More details to come…
